With three young children, two December birthdays, and a wonderful (and generous) extended family, every year seemed like more work figuring out what went where in our home. We didn’t want the annual fight sorting through their toys. But we also needed to get things under control. What stays, what goes?
Our Story
So we gave each kid three labelled boxes: Keep, Sell, Give. They owned the decisions. If it stayed, where’s it go? If its time for the garage sale, how much would it cost? And we always want them to share, so they chose what they donate and what they pass down to family and friends.
And those three boxes inspired another idea. That’s how we made:
